Earlier wall-controller project
This is the historical development announcement for the four-zone button wall controller. References to “V3” in the original project announcement are not the current eight-zone V3 board or the new touchscreen device.

A direct swap for these wall controllers, allows you to control zones from Home Assistant.
At the time of this original announcement, the faceplate was still in development. See the current product page for its present status.
Simply:
- Flash esp home configuration
- Pull remove the existing zone controller, noting which zone connections go where
- Plug in the new zone controller.

For the face plate maybe use a Clipsal iconic switch plate. That way it allows for custom buttons etc

Hi Patrick! I have got the pcb sorted and I also have the faceplate designed. Im thinking a few weeks! Ill put the product up for pre order so I know how many to get 🙂
