Description
Four-zone wall control, connected to Home Assistant
A four-zone wall controller for 24VAC HVAC zoning, ESPHome and Home Assistant. Replace a standard four-zone wall controller with four illuminated local buttons, four zone outputs and open Home Assistant integration. Ships from Australia with the current firmware and setup instructions available for USB-C first installation.
At a glance
- Controls four HVAC damper or valve zones.
- Local wall buttons keep zone control simple; Home Assistant adds dashboards and automations.
- ESPHome connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Core control does not depend on a vendor cloud.
- Controls the zones, while the existing HVAC indoor-unit and thermostat controls manage heating and cooling.
Check compatibility
Designed as a replacement for standard four-zone wall controllers, including SZ-SW4-style systems. Read the compatibility guide for the existing-controller list and wiring notes. Connector shape alone does not identify pin assignments.
Setup and help
First-time installation starts with a USB-C data cable and the 4-Zone setup guide. After flashing, provision Wi-Fi and add the controller to Home Assistant. Existing controllers can use the latest 4-Zone firmware page for OTA updates. For 24VAC actuator wiring, see the damper wiring reference. Customers can send their controller model and wiring photos for a fit check.
Current firmware
The latest published 4-Zone firmware is 17 May 2026: 2026.05.17-v2-hold-dimmer-unique-spill-invert. Use the latest firmware page for the public YAML and update instructions.
