Practical, patient help to set up technology and learn the steps for using it yourself. For NDIS participants, families and support teams.
I’m Jon. TekOnline is where I build software and hardware, repair things and share what I learn. I bring that hands-on approach to everyday technology support, with time to practise and clear steps to use again later.
What we can work on
- 3D printers: setup, connecting the printer to a computer, installing the manufacturer’s software and working through a first test print.
- Everyday devices: practical help with a computer, phone or familiar app, based on the task you want to do.
- Accessibility settings: exploring built-in display, text, speech or input options and adjusting them to your preferences.
- Learning at your pace: breaking a task into manageable steps and making a short written guide if that would help.
A session shaped around you
We start with what you want to be able to do. We agree on the task, check that it is within my experience, and work through it together. You can choose how much you want to do yourself, and we can pause or change approach along the way.
This is practical technology setup and instruction. It does not include clinical assessment or prescribing assistive technology.
NDIS and payment
Whether a particular service can be paid from an NDIS plan depends on the support, the participant’s plan and the provider requirements that apply. Please check with your plan manager or support coordinator before booking. I’ll confirm the task, availability, travel and price before we make an arrangement.
Ask about technology support
Tell me what you would like help setting up, your suburb and a suitable way to contact you. A support coordinator or team member can enquire with the participant’s permission. Please don’t send diagnoses, participant numbers or plan documents in an initial message.
