This is a beginner-friendly OrcaSlicer starting profile for Overture EasyNylon Grey on a Creality K1 Max using the saved Creality K1 Max (0.4 nozzle) – Copy printer.
Download the profile package (ZIP)
What is in the download?
- The importable OrcaSlicer filament profile:
Overture-EasyNylon-Grey-K1Max-Copy.json - A copy of these instructions in
README.md
First-time setup
- Download and unzip the package.
- Open OrcaSlicer.
- Choose Creality K1 Max (0.4 nozzle) – Copy as the printer.
- Open the Filament dropdown and select Generic PA @System – Copy.
- If it is not listed, open the filament preset menu, choose Import, and select the JSON file from the unzipped download.
- Use 0.20mm Standard @Creality K1Max (0.4 nozzle) as the starting print profile.
Before printing
- Nylon is moisture-sensitive. Dry the spool before printing and keep it sealed while printing.
- The profile starts at a 260°C nozzle temperature. Confirm this is suitable for your spool and nozzle.
- Clean the build plate and run a small test print first.
If something goes wrong
- Filament not visible: confirm that the printer ending in – Copy is selected, then restart OrcaSlicer and import the JSON again.
- Stringing or popping: dry the nylon longer; moisture is the most common cause.
- Poor adhesion: clean the plate and use the adhesive recommended for your plate and material.
This is a starting point. Adjust one setting at a time for your spool, nozzle, plate, and model.
