Does it work without cloud services?
Yes. The controller is designed around local-first operation with ESPHome and Home Assistant. You are not locked into a vendor cloud platform to use the core control functions.
Can it duty-cycle zones?
Yes, for compatible applications. The relay outputs can be driven with slow PWM in firmware, which allows duty-cycled control strategies instead of simple on/off switching. Final suitability depends on your zoning hardware and control design.
Is it compatible with my HVAC system?
It is designed for 24VAC zoning applications such as dampers, valves, and similar control setups.
