Two steering cylinders fit the X728 and X748, depending on your serial number and front axle type:
- AM147178 (this cylinder) — Short style, serial numbers before 040,001. Fits both 2WD and 4×4 (MFWD) models.
- AM147180 — Long style, serial numbers after 040,001. For hydrostatic front axle drive. 18.3 inch length.
If your X728 or X748 serial number is 040,001 or higher, order AM147180 instead. Not sure? Check the serial number plate under your seat or near the rear frame.
