Latest Firmware: v2026.05.07
This is the latest ESPHome YAML for the 4-Zone Wall Controller (4zoneWallV1), featuring hold-to-dim PWM control with unique naming and relay-only spill overlay.
What is New in This Version
- Hold-to-dim: Press and hold any zone button to ramp brightness up/down in 5% steps. Each new hold reverses direction, like a single-button dimmer switch.
- Spill control: Configure a spill zone that automatically opens to 100% when all other zones are off, protecting your HVAC system from dead-heading.
- Unique entity naming: Each zone gets individually named sliders and diagnostics so they integrate cleanly in Home Assistant dashboards.
- Slow PWM relay control: 300-second duty cycle PWM for zone dampers, giving precise proportional control across all four zones.
- PWM LED dimming: Button LEDs reflect effective zone output level (including spill) for clear at-a-glance feedback.
