Replacing an older 4-zone wall controller?
This post tracks the systems and controller models the TekOnline 4-Zone Wall Controller is intended to replace or retrofit.
If your current controller is not listed yet, send a photo of the controller label and terminal wiring before ordering and I can check likely fit.
Quick answers
Can the TekOnline controller replace my existing four-zone wall controller?
Yes. It is designed to replace standard four-zone wall controllers such as the SZ-SW4 style and take over the four zone outputs, while adding ESPHome and Home Assistant control. Your HVAC indoor unit’s thermostat and heating/cooling controls remain in place.
Does an RJ11 or RJ12 plug guarantee it will fit?
No. The plug shape does not identify the wiring. Check the existing controller model and pin assignments against the wiring reference before moving wires. If the panel has additional changeover relays, photograph and map those connections too.
Where do I find setup and wiring instructions?
If you want a pre-install check, send the controller model and clear photos of its wiring.
