Jayco Starcraft 2024. Quality control issues. Leak at the rear light.

I recently picked up a Jayco Starcraft 2024. After some time, I noticed that the rear compartment was a little damp. On further investigation this is what I found:

I needed to remove the plastic light surround, but this is what I found. Notice the water line? Here is what was happening.

1. Top of the light surround wasnt sealed. Water goes down inside of the light surround
2. Water fills up the light surround. There is no drain hole on the light surround 🤔
3. Water enters through the badly sealed penetration (the beige wire) – notice how the waterline stops at the beige wire?!

The solution, seal the top of the surround, drill a drain hole in the light surround and correctly seal the penetration.
