Fitment — Will This Fit My Car?
This wheel is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory steering wheel (airbag and multifunction buttons transfer across from your existing wheel). Fits all E90-platform BMWs plus many more E-series cars:

Installation
DIY job. Transfer your airbag, multifunction buttons, and trim from your existing wheel. One centre bolt (16mm). No coding required for non-M cars (the wheel is mechanically identical to factory — same spline, same clock spring interface). Budget 30 minutes if you’re handy, an hour if it’s your first time.
Important: Heated Wheel on a Non-Heated Car
If your car did not come with a heated steering wheel from the factory, this wheel will still bolt on and work perfectly as a regular steering wheel. The heating element simply will not activate because your car lacks the heated clock spring, power wiring, and steering column button module.
To enable the heating function on a non-heated car, you would need:
- Heated steering wheel clock spring (with extra power pins)
- Steering column lower trim with heated wheel button
- Fuse and wiring from fusebox to clock spring
- ISTA or NCS coding to enable the option
Most buyers skip the retrofit and just enjoy the upgraded look and feel. The flat bottom, thumb contours, and fresh leather are the real upgrade — heating is a bonus if your car already has it.
How to check if your car has heated steering: look for a small heated wheel button on the left side of your steering column trim (below the indicator stalk). If you see it, your car is wired for heat and the function will work. If not, the wheel still fits and works normally.
